We woke up this morning to our first snow of the winter season! Speaking of snow, temperatures are dropping in New England - I would like to remind families to please dress their child appropriately with pants, hats, winter coats, gloves or mittens (winter is here and we will be going outside for recess so I want to make sure everyone is kept warm and healthy)! Thank you!
This week (December 6th - 10th) has been busy! Our third, fourth and fifth grade teachers met with Mrs. Gover for Panorama training at their Professional Learning Community meetings throughout the week. Our Lego Club met at 8:00 on Tuesday morning, December 7th. We had a staff meeting after school on Tuesday, December 7th at 3:35. We also had a West School Council Zoom call at 6:00, and a PTA Zoom call at 7:00. We had early dismissal at 1:05 on Wednesday, December 8th for Parent-Teacher conferences. I am looking forward to having lunch with Mrs. Walsh's class today on Thursday, December 9th!
Looking ahead to the next two weeks (Monday, December 13th - Wednesday, December 22nd) Ms. Keegan is hosting a "Family Celebration" on Monday, December 13th at 1:00. Our Lego Club is meeting at 8:00 on Tuesday, December 14th. COVID communication will be sent out to staff and families on Wednesday, December 15th and again on Wednesday, December 22nd. Our Coding Club is meeting on Friday morning, December 17th at 8:00 AM. Thank you to our generous PTA who will be hosting a Holiday Staff Breakfast for the West faculty on Tuesday morning, December 21st - THANK YOU PTA!
